New year, new notebook. Meet the new HP Envy 14.

No surprises, this notebook has a 14-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio supporting a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. HP also says the Envy 14 will come with Delta E right out of the box.

Inside, the Envy 14 will be powered by Intel’s new 11th generation Tiger Lake processors, and there will be various options available. More demanding users will also be able to equip their units with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q discrete graphics.

To cope with the updated hardware, the Envy 14 has a revised cooling system that draws cool air from underneath the chassis and expels warm air through vents in the rear.

HP has also paid special attention to the webcam and microphone. There’s a physical shutter for the webcam and a dedicated key to mute the mic. There’s also a new AI Noise Removal feature that removes background noise during video chats, voice calls, and recordings.

There’s also a lighting feature that adjusts the display brightness to enhance the user’s appearance during video calls.

Battery life is claimed to be up to 16.5 hours, but obviously, this will vary depending on the system’s specifications and usage.
